ABOUT GNOMNIVORE
What is the meaning behind your brand name?
Nothing too complicated. We came up with Gnomnivore from a combination of the playful sound: "Gnom, Gnom", like when you're munching something, and "Omnivore", which refers to "all you can eat" types of animal.
As Homo sapiens, modern human, we consume foods from mother nature for approxiamately 300,000 years. And we'll keep doing so!
What do you mean by "Engineered snacks"?
As a Civil Engineer, I have always believed in building things that last.
Strong foundations. Solid structures. And sustainable materials.
These are the fundamental principles that constructs Gnomnivore.
What we eat today lays the foundation for who we become tomorrow. So we decided to "engineer" our snacks that makes you feel safe eating them, and make it worth the value!

How hot are your snacks?
At Gnomnivore, we craft our snacks using real chilli powders.
For Salted Egg Cashew Nuts, we started with Cayenne pepper, which has a Scoville rating of 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU), placing it in the medium-hot category in the chilli world.
Wil Extreme Heat melt my face?
Nope. Our snacks are engineered so that they still taste absolutely great without putting you into emergency room.
HOWEVER, a more supreme spicy product will be coming into our inventory, since a lot more people are looking into spicy challenge rather then normal heat snack than we expected.
When the time comes, we will let you know.
How long do your snacks last?
Our snacks are tested in the lab and marked with a Best Before date of 6 months after the production date.
Since they are made from from real ingredients, with no artificial preservatives, they are best to store in cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight for the intended shelf life.
Once the bag is open, it's best to consume within 3 days. The zip lock is there for you to conveniently carry your snacks anywhere you want!
What makes Gnomnivore different?
From our principles.
When you look into the snack market in Australia. You'll see three common themes.
First of all, they are either frying chips with ridiculous amounts of oil, turn your hands into grease after a few bites.
Or if they're baked, their flavours/tastes have been the same for that last "15 years"...
Finally, they are over-processed, full of artificial stuffs and crapping ingredients that makes you feel ashame whenever eating them.
Our snacks are made with real ingredients sourced mostly from nature, cooked with engineering specs to ensure the longest shelf-life as naturally possible.

We can't pronounce all of them...
Not all of them are bad, they are just not necessary... And we definitely don't want to put into our bodies all those things...

What is the cost for delivery?
A standard shipping rate is $9.95 to all over Australia, and free shipping for all orders over $100!
We also offer express shipping with $14.95 if you want your chillies hot and quick!
